Getting to Stanford!

Below are transportation options from San Francisco International Airport and San Jose International Airport to the site of registration for NSJP.

South and Easy Bay Shuttle (a non-Veolia run company) is the easiest option in terms of time and energy spent; public transportation will be cheaper, but less reliable and longer on Saturday and Sunday. SPER and NSJP will leave it to the discretion of attendees to find people to share vans with. We have created a form for registered attendees to share and view each other’s travel information. You will receive a link to this form after we have verified and confirmed your registration. Please contact StanfordSPER ‘at’ gmail.com with any additional questions.

From Oakland International Airport to Stanford:

Notes on using public transit:
The conference will be on a weekend, which affects public transportation options. Students will be able to take Stanford’s free shuttle, “the Marguerite” from the Palo Alto CalTrain station to Tresidder Union, where registration will occur. Lines X, Y, and SE will take you to Tresidder during the day; lines N, O and SE will take you to Tresidder at night. Shuttle service is limited during weekend mornings, when only the SE runs between CalTrain and Tresidder. This option will cost $9 each way from SFO or SJC. We will try to find volunteers to pick students up from the train station when the Marguerite is not running, but attendees may have to split a taxi (<$10).
