To our comrades and peers throughout the campus,
On behalf of Stanford Students for Palestinian Equal Rights I’d like to send you a huge thank you for coming to our conference. It was a lot of work to put on, but we were incredibly happy to do it and hope you were able to come took something out of it.
I know Anakbayan Silicon Valley is writing a formal statement about their participation in the conference (thanks Katherine and Julian!)–if you feel inspired to share any longer thoughts with us and your own organization, please let me know. We can either publicize it on our website, read it privately in our meeting, or both.
If you were unable to come, our final plenary was amazing. A lot of campus groups would benefit from having Stanford-specific conversation on the topic “Beyond Solidarity: the case for Joint Struggle. You can take a look at some of the things we discussed in the photos below. Stay tuned for more info!
We’ve spent the last few days resting and recovering and can’t believe it’s already been a week since SJP National! We’ll be going on a retreat this weekend to debrief the conference and set next steps for the coming weeks and quarters.
Wishing everyone love and safety.
With love and solidarity,
Students for Palestinian Equal Rights
